SYNTHR: participating in a public testnet
SYNTHR is an omnichain liquidity protocol that works to eliminate slippage in transfers between networks. The project has invested $4.05 million and is being developed on the basis of LayerZero and Axelar Network.
Recently, the project team announced a public testnet in its X (Twitter) account. In the guide, we will review and perform the available activities.
Main activities
Note: you need a Metamask wallet to complete the challenge. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and configure it.
- Go to Discord and go through verification.
- Next, in the wallet registration branch, select the Register command and choose the second option from the proposed options. Send a message, then click Submit:
- After that, a form will appear where we enter the address, our invitation code 366545077906178049 and confirm the registration.
- After completing the previous steps, we get access to the platform. Advanced users can go to the site and test the available functionality.
Next, let’s take a closer look at the testnet activities that may be difficult for beginners.
- To proceed, you need to obtain test tokens. Go to the section Faucet section section and send a request by clicking Request. First, you will receive ETH if you did not have it in the Arbitrum Sepolia network:
- Click Add now in the Mint section, specify the amount and confirm:
- Perform similar actions in the available interactions and go to the Swap section:
- Specify the number of test tokens and exchange them:
- Transfer tokens between networks in the Bridge section:
- Keep an eye out for updates, as users are waiting for new functionality that is not yet available.
Conclusion
The activity does not require any real money. It doesn’t take long to complete the testnet, but to increase the chances of a potential drop, you should periodically return to interact with the project.
We receive points for transactions in the protocol. You can track their number and your position in the ranking using the leaderboard.
The public testnet was launched on February 24 and there is an opportunity to become an early bird.
