Stroom Network — participating in a testnet with a focus on drops
Stroom Network is a protocol for liquid bitcoin staking with the subsequent use of assets on the Lightning Network (LN). You can read more about the project in our article.

In this guide, we will consider what actions in the testnet can lead us to a potential drop.
Guide to the activities
Preparation
- Go to the website and download the wallet to your phone:
- After installation, click App Settings and enable the test network. Next, click New Wallet and select the test network:
- After setting up the wallet, click Receive and copy the address:
- Request test satoshis in the faucets: first, second.
- We also need an EVM-compatible wallet, for example, we will use MetaMask. Connect the test network Sepolia.
- We receive test ETH in one or more taps: first, second, third, fourth, and fifth.
Main activities
- Open the website, connect MetaMask, and copy the address:
- Go to our bitcoin wallet and click Send. Enter the previously copied address and the amount of tokens, click Next:
- After sending the tokens, return to the page and click I have paid:
- Wait for the funds to be credited and click Mint:
- You can withdraw funds in the tab Reedeem:
- Go to Galxe and complete the task.
Conclusion
The activities do not require any money and do not take much time. After completing the testnet and moving to the mainnet, everyone will be able to receive rewards depending on the number of points earned in the campaign.
