XOOB: a new stage in the development of LaunchJoy
XOOB is a Web3 gaming platform that aims to unite gamers and investors in one space.
In early June 2024, the then LaunchJoy project announced its rebranding to XOOB. The team noted that they were keeping their history and experience, but were looking to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas.
Currently, the protocol implements a system of accrual of XOOB Points (XP), which can be obtained for staking CHR tokens and daily visits to the platform. XP will be used to purchase mystery boxes, but at the time of writing, the functionality is still under development.
Earlier, Incrypted published material on the activities on the LaunchJoy testnet in November 2023. The campaign that lasted then also involved the accrual of points. Participants who took part in it will receive XP in XOOB in proportion to their previous progress.
In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the activities of the updated project and show you the available tasks for accumulating XP.
Guide to completing the activities
Notes: you will need a Metamask-type wallet to complete this activity. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and configure it.
- Go to the website and connect your wallet:
- Click on XP and claim the points from the available box:
- To get more points, you need to reach a continuous queue of 15 days of visits to the platform and stamping. Since you can get from 10 to 40 XP for the first day’s box. For 15 days or more — from 200 to 400 XP.
- Additional points can be obtained by staking CHR, the native tokens of the Chromia project, which is an investor and incubator of the XOOB.
- CHR can be purchased on PancakeSwap. You can watch the live stream on the website. Conduct your own research on the rationality of buying an asset specifically for an activity. Also note that you should wait two weeks for the withdrawal from staking. We have previously described the steps in the guide.

Increased XP accumulation
Web3 gaming platform XOOB announced in their X (formerly Twitter) the availability of a unique soulbound token, XOOB ID, which gives access to exclusive features and privileges in the ecosystem.
Advantages of XOOB ID:
- double XP for daily boxes and in quests;
- prioritized access to special events;
- access to participate in the seals;
- additional bonuses in the future.
Note: to mint the corresponding SBT you need to own a native BNB Chain token of 0.005 BNB plus a commission fee. This is not a financial tip and probably shouldn’t be purchased unless you maintain XP accumulation activity.
- Go to the site and connect the wallet.
- Under Daily XP, click Mint and confirm the transaction:
The project team also launched a mini-application in Telegram, in which users need to collect Milk. According to the developers, the collected Milk will later be converted into XP.
- To participate, follow the link and launch the app.
- Accumulate Milk by completing quests in the Quests section and inviting friends.

Conclusion
XOOB Points can be accumulated both for free and with costs. Users who have been active in LaunchJoy have an advantage in the number of points. The Seasons section of the website indicates that we are going to have several stages of points pharming.
