ORA: get points for interacting with the protocol
ORA is the first artificial intelligence oracle that allows for the integration of AI technologies into the blockchain infrastructure. The protocol operates on the main Ethereum network and several second-tier solutions such as Linea, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Mantle.
At the end of June 2024, the project announced that it had raised $20 million in a Series A investment round from Polychain Capital, HashKey Capital, SevenX Ventures, and HF0. A year earlier, the team closed a pre-seed round for $3 million, bringing the total amount of funds raised to $23 million.
The developers also launched the ORA Points program. The activity involves the accumulation of points for interacting with protocols that have integrated the oracle and for staking ETH, stETH, STONE, or OLM. An additional opportunity to accumulate points is the referral program.
The official documentation states that 10% of ORA tokens will be distributed among users of the ORA Points program. The equivalent of conversion to tokens in relation to the received points is not known beforehand.
Points accrual:
- staking 1 ETH/stETH will bring the user 8 points per day. For 10,000 OLM – 24 points, but it should be borne in mind that this is a more volatile token and there are risks of losing on exchange rate fluctuations;
- 3 points for each interaction with the AI oracle in different networks;
- 5 points for an invited user.

Main activity
Note: you need a Metamask-type wallet to complete the activity. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and configure it.
- Go to the website and connect your wallet.
- The Points section displays all available tasks. Go to Oracle AI and then click Use Model on any option:
- Choose a network convenient for interaction, click Surprise me, and generate an image confirming the transaction on the wallet. When finished, click Finalize at the bottom of the page.
Important: one transaction requires payment of a commission of about $1.5 in equivalent. Consider the rationality of performing this activity.
- The next task is aimed at inviting users. But you need to use someone else’s code to access yours. We suggest you use our XY15MB and get additional 5 points:
- After activation, copy your own code and invite users. After that, go to the next task page:
- Specify the desired amount of the selected asset and confirm. Staking is carried out only on the Ethereum network, so it is accompanied by a significant cost of commission:
- You can track your points in the Dashboard section.
Conclusion
The accumulation of points is possible in different ways, and it is not necessary to complete each of the stages to qualify. If you have many potential users who can be invited to the platform, the process is not costly. The other two options include online actions that require payment of a fee. Moreover, there is a risk of losing money in the staking task, as it is worth remembering that any protocol is not a guarantee of security and can be hacked.
