Activities on the Linea mainnet network. Заглавный коллаж статьи.

Linea is a project that was developed by ConsenSys, a company known for creating MetaMask, Infura, Quorum, Truffle and other projects. Attracted investments in the project have already exceeded $725 million, including from such large companies as Microsoft, SoftBank, Temasek and others.

Before going live on Mainnet, the project team held a small stream where they summarized the results of the Testnet stage and announced rewards for Voyage campaign participants. Every user with more than 2500 points on Galxe received a collectible NFT to their wallet. For those with fewer points, an NFT is also provided, but it will need to be branded manually on the site when the branding becomes available.

NFT distribution to campaigners.

Further in the article, we will show how to transfer ETH to Linea Mainnet and interact with protocols that already support the mainnet.

Guide to completing the activities

As in the other guides, we will need to do a little preparation in which we will add Linea Mainnet to our wallet.

Note: you will need a Metamask-type wallet for the walkthrough. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and customize it.

Preparation

  1. Open the wallet and click Add network:

Note: since Metamask is one of the Consensus products, like Linea, you may already have a network added to your wallet. If so, skip the preparation and move on to the main guide.

Preparation. Step 1
  1. Click Add a network manually and enter the data as shown in the screenshot:

Input data

  • Network name: Linea Mainnet
  • New RPC URL: https://rpc.linea.build
  • Chain ID: 59144
  • Currency symbol: ETH
  • Block explorer URL: https://lineascan.build
Preparation. Step 2

Conclusion

The core network has only recently been launched, some transactions may take a long time to complete and some may be canceled. But by interacting with the network at this stage of development, we show our interest, for which the project team will probably reward us in the future.

There are indeed many protocols, it is best to choose one from each category and interact only with them for a while. Then these protocols can be changed to others from the list. This way you can accumulate a large number of on-chain transactions and your wallet will interact with a large number of smart contracts.

Highlights

  • You should not use all protocols at once, it is better to choose one from each category.
  • Transactions may take a long time to complete and may even fail.
  • It is desirable, at least once, to make an ETH bridge through the official bridge.
  • It is desirable to interact with the project periodically.
