Activities on Li.Fi
Li.Fi is an aggregator of decentralized exchanges (DEX) and a service that provides the ability to transfer cryptocurrencies between different blockchains. The project’s functionality allows various protocols to use it on their platforms, such as Layer3, OpenSea, etc.
In March 2023, the project raised $17.5 million in a Series A funding round. The funds came from CoinFund and Superscrypt and others. A year earlier, $5.5 million was raised in a strategic round. Thus, the total investment amount is $23 million.
Back in an April 2023 piece, Incrypted’s editorial team reviewed the Li.Fi project and talked about various drop-side activities. At the time of writing, more than a year after the previous publication, there is no information about airdrop activities. Therefore, take into account the rationality of the cost of execution, because all the activities take place on the mainnet.
Since there are quite a lot of protocols that use the Li.Fi functionality and they are popular, even if you have not performed the guide, but are an active user in crypto — most likely, your wallet address is already on the scanner with several transactions and a certain volume.
Given the breadth of interaction with the service, many native users already have a significant number of transactions and volume. Therefore, it may be worth focusing on third-party activity. At the same time, unique interactions with protocols, Ethereum transactions, and native volume should not be overlooked.
In the new article we will tell you about additional activities on the Li.Fi project and show you step-by-step steps of implementation.
Guide to completing the activities
Most firewalls work on the same principle and user interaction is done through similar interfaces. Therefore, for the sake of example, let’s consider the main service — Jumper.
It is also worth considering the methodology of finding sybils, which was used in LayerZero, when they sifted out whole clusters of wallets by on-chain actions that copied each other. It is possible that the following projects may implement similar solutions. Therefore, you need to diversify your actions and demonstrate native activity.
Note: you need a Metamask-type wallet to pass. If you don’t have it, you can use our guide to set it up and customize it.
- Go to the platform using the link. Specify the networks and tokens between which the transfer will be made, enter the desired amount and choose the most favorable of the proposed options. Confirm the transaction by paying the commission.
Important: the amount shown in the screenshot is for visualization purposes only. It is not necessary to repeat it. Make transfers taking into account your capabilities and remembering the importance of volume accumulation. At least one transaction of 0.1 ETH and activity on the Ethereum network can be an advantage.
- Periodically repeat the interaction with the protocol, performing transfers between as many pairs of different networks as possible.
Note: too much activity in a short time can play a bad role. A better option would be to invoke the bridge periodically, on different days and hours. This way more native communication will be maintained.
- Based on the previous steps, increase the number of unique interactions by performing translations in the following protocols: Layer3, OpenSea (internal exchange), Extrafi, MetaMask (the path should be specified via Li.Fi), DappRadar.
Now let’s move on to performing tasks that will potentially increase the uniqueness of our wallet against the background of those who have conducted onchain interactions.
- Communicate, answer questions in the chats and maintain activity in Discord of the project.
- Join the guild of the project on the site. For additional roles, perform social activity:
- Mint pin for one more role (price — 5 MATIC). Additionally verify Jumper OG — there is a possibility that will count for an activity you may not remember:
- Complete available quests on the Layer3 platform:
- At the time of writing there are no active quests on Galxe, but they are periodically added. So follow and complete them to accumulate points and get OAT.
Super Fest campaign
One of the LiFi protocol ecosystem projects, Jumper, has unveiled its award-winning Super Fest campaign. Its main goal is to introduce us to the superchain ecosystem.
The prize pool is 1.5 million OP tokens, but in addition to it, users get 5 XP to Jumper Loyalty Pass for completing tasks. Thus, we can make additional activity in the protocols and possibly cover our gas costs thanks to the prize pool.
- Go to the site and connect the wallet.
- From the list, choose the task you like and click on it.
Note: pay attention to the markers. The OP marker in the upper right corner means that for completing this task you will be qualified for the prize pool drawing. The 5 XP icon on the lower right corner means that for completing this task you will receive points to the Jumper Loyalty Pass.
- Perform tasks on the selected campaign.
Conclusion
The activity is performed on mainnet and most of the activities require commission costs. A single execution of a guide may not be enough. It is worth maintaining native interaction.
Highlights:
- $23 million investment;
- costs are present;
- project has been on the market since 2021;
- one execution may not be enough;
- no information about the drop-off.
