The largest Web3 event TOKEN2049 will gather about 20 000 participants in Singapore

The TOKEN2049 conference will be held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from September 18 to 19, 2024. The organizers of the event in a conversation with Incrypted stated that it is the world’s largest and most significant cryptocurrency and blockchain event of the year.
More than 20 000 attendees from over 150 countries are expected to attend the event. The conference will also feature more than 200 speakers, including Binance CEO Richard Teng, Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko, renowned entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan, Maelstrom IT director Arthur Hayes, Schelling AI founder Emad Mostaque and many others.
«After the record-breaking success of 2023, this year’s TOKEN2049 will feature over 500 events that will take place from September 16 to 22 across the city-state», — the press release said.
The release also said TOKEN2049 will «immerse attendees in a festival experience unlike any other». According to the organizers, a host of events will combine new Web3-generation technologies with endless entertainment on four floors of the convention floor.
It is known that the exhibition floors will feature interactive VR zones and immersive AI, a monolith for rock climbing, a competition padel, soccer and mixed martial arts, just to name a few of the many other attractions that will be on display during the days of the event.
There will also be a new startup competition at TOKEN2049, «which will showcase the next generation of Web3 projects». The announcement says that hundreds of applicants will go through a rigorous evaluation process, and only the ten most innovative projects will be selected to perform on the world stage where they will showcase their innovations for the first time.
