Activities on Initia testnet for a potential airdrop
Initia is an interoperable network that utilizes MoveVM, the first integration of the Move smart contract language compatible with Cosmos’ Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. In addition, Initia’s architecture allows L2 networks to utilize EVM, WasmVM, or MoveVM while enabling seamless messaging and communication between them.
The project has attracted $7.5 million in investment from Binance Labs, Delphi Digital and others.
In the guide, let’s take a look at what actions on the testnet can lead users to potential airdrop.
Guide to completing the activities
Note: you will need a Metamask-type wallet to pass. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and set it up.
- Go to the site, connect the wallet and copy the address. Next, go to the faucet and request test tokens:
- To complete the second task, go to the site and connect the wallet. Next, look for a free name and register username:
- Go to the site and exchange 1 INIT to USDC, ETH or TIA:
- Further on the tab Stake deposit INIT tokens into staking via any validator:
- The next step is to deposit funds into the steaking via a pool with one of the following tokens:
- To complete the last task of the first week, you need to collect the rewards from the steaking:
- Mint the NFT after completing the tasks:
- After collecting all the NFTs, click Build Jennie to get your pet:
- To get additional points, connect social networks and enter the referral code JS3ZXS3M:
- After you get a pet, you need to feed it no more than once a week by clicking Feed Jennie:
- You can buy food for your pet:
- Also, if different food is available, it can be upgraded to get better food:
Week 2 Tasks
- Take the XP that has been accumulated:
- Feed the pet. It is better to do it with higher quality products, as you can feed it only once a week:
- Contribute funds to the staking pool INIT-USDC:
Week 3 Tasks
- Requesting the test tokens on the faucet.
- Send INIT tokens to the Blackwing L2 network. To do this, select the network, insert your address, enter the number of assets and click Next:
- Send INITs to other L2 networks in the same way: Noon, Tucana, Init AI, Minimove, and Miniwasm.
- Don’t forget to feed the Jennie:
Week 4 Tasks
- Request the test tokens on the faucet, under the new rules you need to have 20+ Gitcoin Passport points to do this.
- Next, under Swap buy 0.1 TIA:
- Similarly, buy 5 TUC, 0.0001 ETH and 1 USDC;
- We then open the bridge and send 1 USDC to the Blackwing network:
- Similarly send 1 INIT to the INIT AI network, 0.1 TIA to the Noon network, 5 TUC to the Tucana network, 0.0001 ETH to the Minimove network and 1 INIT to the Civitia network.
- Don’t forget to feed your Jennie.
Week 5 Tasks
- Request test tokens on the faucet. According to the rules, you need to have at least 20 Gitcoin Passport points to do this.
- Next, under Swap buy 2 USDC:
- Similarly, buy 0.0001 ETH and 0.1 TIA.
- Initially, let’s prepare for the quests by opening the bridge and sending 1 USDC to the Blackwing network:
- In the same manner send:
- 1 INIT to the INIT AI network;
- 0.1 TIA to the Noon network;
- 0.0001 ETH to the Minimove network;
- 1 INIT to the Civitia network;
- 1 USDC to the Tucana network.
- After that, let’s get started on the Week 5 tasks. Open the bridge and send 1 USDC from the Blackwing network to the Minimove network:
- Select INIT as the token to pay for gas and click Approve:
- In the same way we send:
- 1 INIT from Init AI to Tucana;
- 0.1 TIA from Noon to Miniwasm;
- 0.0001 ETH from Minimove to Blackwing;
- 1 INIT from Civitia to Init AI;
- 1 USDC from Tucana to Noon.
- Don’t forget to feed your pet.
Week 6 Tasks
- Request test tokens on the faucet. According to the rules, you need to have at least 20 Gitcoin Passport points to do this.
- Download the Lunch app, import your wallet and make a Claim Egg:
- Go to Tucana, connect your wallet and deposit liquidity in TUC tokens:
- Open bridge and bridge INIT to the Civitia network:
- Go to Civitia, connect your wallet and click Roll dice:
- Don’t forget to feed your pet.
Conclusion
Blockchain is in the testnet stage, so activities do not require monetary outlay, but transactions may hang and not go through for some time.
Since it is a tier 1 network, it will not be able to function without native coin. Therefore, along with the launch of the main mainnet, a portion of the total coin supply may be distributed to active testnet users in the form of an airdrop.
