Incrypted Conference 2024 results: over 1500 guests, 30 speakers and Buterin’s arrival

On June 23, 2024, a large-scale Incrypted Conference 2024 was held in Kyiv — the main and final event of Ukrainian Blockchain Week. The event gathered more than 1500 people, many speakers and famous members of the cryptocurrency community.
Notable personalities
The event was attended by more than 30 experts, 75 companies, representatives of international blockchain organizations, and the Ukrainian government. Among them:
- Solana Foundation CEO Daniel Albert. He gave an interview to the Incrypted team, follow the updates on the website and social networks not to miss it;
- Nym Technologies CEO Harry Halpin;
- Aleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for the development of the IT sphere. His speech was dedicated to the regulation of the cryptosphere in the country;
- Yevgen Panchenko, Head of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine;
- Alex Makarov, Head of Strategy and Operation of Binance crypto exchange in Central, Eastern Europe and CIS region;
- WTG Ventures co-founders Michael Taylor and Janis Graubis and many others.
It should be noted that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin visited the conference. In an exclusive interview with Incrypted, he talked about how the cryptocurrency community in Ukraine has changed in two years, and also received the NFT-cat signed by Zelensky from the team.
In addition, during the awarding of the winners of the ETHKyiv hackathon, which took place at Incrypted Conference 2024, Buterin signed the flag of Ukraine, which was raffled off during a fundraiser to help Ukrainian soldiers.
The conference also featured the panel discussion titled ‘How Cryptomarketers Deceive You’ and speeches by popular industry influencers.
In total, the event was attended by about 1,500 people. They had a unique opportunity to interact and ask questions to the most prominent industry participants and exchange ideas with community members.

Online Marathon
Before the conference, from June 20 to June 22, 2024, the Incrypted team held the online marathon dedicated to different crypto projects and trends in this field. The first two days were dedicated to panel discussions, while the third day was dedicated to solo presentations.
Among the marathon speakers were Austin Federa, head of the Solana Foundation, CEO of ether.fi Mike Silagadze, Near Protocol co-founder Ilya Polosukhin, Binance CMO Rachel Conlan, Hacken CEO Dmitry Budorin, SafePal CEO Veronica Wong, 1inch co-founders Anton Bukov and Sergey Kunz, WalletConnect CTO Derek Rein, as well as representatives of Consensys, Eigen Labs, Polkastarter, Matter Labs, Linea, Filecoin Foundation, ChainGPT, HERE wallet, and many others.
During the broadcasts, attendees discussed various topics, some of which have text excerpts on Incrypted’s website. These include cryptocurrency ETFs, support for Web3 startups, second-tier solutions, and democratization of the cryptoasset sphere, among others.
