Giakaa Capital will unite authorities, investors and startups at India Blockchain Summit 2024

India Blockchain Summit 2024 (IBS), a global event, will be held on 19 October 2024 in New Delhi, India. Organisers say they aim to bring together representatives from the government, Web3 startups, and venture capital firms.
The event will be hosted by Giakaa Capital and the firm’s managing partner Omika Dubey will be the «driving force» behind the summit. The IBS website says the entrepreneur has a wealth of experience in Web3 and finance.
«She is not only shaping the future of India’s blockchain landscape but also bringing together key stakeholders from government, investment, and startup ecosystems to accelerate India’s digital transformation», Giakaa Capital said.
The organisers note that the event is completely free of cost. They said India Blockchain Summit 2024 will bring together an «unprecedented» number of business and government participants. Representatives from the following companies and organisations will speak at the event:
- Digi Yatra Foundation;
- Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC);
- Bharat Web3 Association;
- Standard Chartered Bank;
- Bharatbox;
- Borderless Capital;
- India Blockchain Forum and others.
The summit will also be attended by CTO of Passport Seva Programme Shri Golok Kumar Simli, Senior Innovation Officer in Embassy of Israel Maya Sherman, and Rama Devi Lanka — Director of Emerging Technologies at ITE&C Department, Government of Telangana.
In all, over 5,000 people will participate in the summit. The organisers want to discuss issues about the Web3-sphere’s interaction with areas such as fintech and banking, healthcare, logistics, aerospace, and many other industries. IBS will touch on more than 20 different topics in total.
«The event aims to explore how blockchain technology can contribute to India’s ambition to become a global leader in digital innovation while fostering collaboration between government, industry, and startups», the organisers said.
Giakaa Capital officials highlight that more than 500 companies, businesses, and organisations have partnered with India Blockchain Summit 2024. Over 250 startups will participate in the event. According to them, potential investments related to the event may exceed $1 billion.
