Fuel Network — participating in the final stage of the testnet
Fuel is an L2 solution whose team aims to empower Ethereum without compromising security and decentralization by implementing transaction parallelization mechanisms. This is achieved through the use of an in-house developed virtual machine and the Sway programming language. More information can be found in the project documentation.
The team has raised $81.1 million in investments from Blockchain Capital, The Spartan Group, CoinFund and others.
Further in the article we will show you how to participate in the last stage of the testnet to be able to qualify for the drop if the project team will conduct it in the future.
Guide to completing the activities
Note: you will need a Metamask-type wallet to pass. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and set it up.
Preparation
If you have already participated in the testnet of this project and installed Fuel wallet, you can skip this step.
- Go to the site, click Install Fuel Wallet, install and create a wallet:
- Copy the address of the previously created wallet and request the test ETH from the Fuel faucet:
- Next, request the test ETH Sepolia ETH to the EVM wallet on the site.
Note: if you have problems with the faucet, try using a VPN.
Using the bridge
- Go to the website, connect EVM and Fuel wallet.
- Enter the desired amount and confirm the transfer of ETH from Sepolia to the Fuel network by clicking Deposit:
- After that, open the Withdraw tab and transfer some funds back to the Sepolia network:
Ecosystem dApps
At the time of writing, the project ecosystem is relatively small and most of the protocols are unstable. Therefore, we will only touch on one dApp in the guide.
Note: the full list of protocols for self-activation can be found on the website.
- Go to the site and connect the wallet.
- Click Make a New Player and sign the transaction:
- Interact with the game and make some transactions.

Getting Guild Roles
The project team gives the opportunity to get roles in the Discord by completing simple tasks.
On the website, click View details to find all the conditions for getting a role:
Conclusion
Incrypted first mentioned this project back in 2023. Back then, the network was only in development and there were many bugs when trying to interact with it. More than a year later, according to the Fuel team, the network is in its final stages and will be going mainnet soon. So it makes sense to be active in the project now, perhaps participants in non-reward phases will get some benefits in the future.
