Farcaster: activity in the Warpcast app
In May 2024, the decentralized social protocol completed a $150 million Series A investment round, bringing the total investment to $180 million.

After additional investments and further development of the project, it attracted even more attention from drophunters. The Incrypted team decided to prepare material on one of the most popular clients for connecting — Warpcast.
In the new article, we will tell you about the main application of the project and show you what steps to take to increase account activity for a potential airdrop.
Main activities
Important: access to the app is paid — $6 per year. Payment is made via card. Do your own research and consider all the risks.
Note: the following screenshots will be from the browser version of Warpcast. You can continue to interact from your smartphone or also interact with the application via a PC using a QR code for authorization.
- Follow the link, download the app, and log in. Be sure to save the wallet recovery phrase.
- Go to your profile and click Edit:
- Fill in the relevant data, upload a photo, and save:
- In the Addresses section, connect the wallet and verify the action:
- Create interesting content and publish it to the feed by pressing Cast.
Important: do not create posts (casts) just for the sake of marking. The platform may identify you as a bot. Be as similar as possible to a real user. In addition, interesting content can attract attention and be liked or commented on, and such accounts can receive a special badge with various privileges.
- Also interact with other users’ casts:
- The platform has a warps currency that can be used to perform various special on-channel actions for Warpcast, one of which is creating a channel. For a successful referral, 50 warps are credited to the account, and your link can be found on the Invite section:
Additional activities
Go to the Layer3 platform and connect your account in the settings. Next, complete the available quests in the Superchain Evolution campaign. The prize pool is $50,000 in OP tokens. At the time of writing, there is no deadline:
Conclusion
Just to access the app, you need to pay $6 per year. Given the cost involved, the activity is not for everyone. Do your own research if you decide to purchase access. After activating your account, you need to keep your activity as similar as possible to a real user. The total amount of investment classifies Farcaster as a Tier-1 project.
There is no information about the platform’s native token, but some users have already received drops from another project, Spectral. To qualify, you had to have 10 subscribers, 10 likes, and 10 interactions on the Base network.
