Activities on the Dango testnet for a potential airdrop
Dango is an EVM-compatible L2 solution to improve scalability from the Celo Foundation team.
The project previously raised $104.5 million in investment from funds such as Coinbase Ventures, a16z, Polychain Capital, SV Angel, and others.
In this guide we will show you how to participate in the testnet to become one of the early users of the project.
Guide to completing the activities
Note: you will need a Metamask-type wallet to pass. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to install and customize it.
1. Go to the site and connect GitHub, then in the bottom left corner add the Celo Dango test network, then insert the wallet address and check the checkbox, click Faucet:
2. Request test ETH on the Holesky faucet page. Additional faucets — first, second:
3. Next, go to the bridge page, connect the wallet and click Withdraw, send CELO test tokens from the Celo Dango network to the Holesky network:
4. After a successful transaction, switch the wallet to Holesky network, click Deposit and send CELO tokens to Celo Dango Testnet:
Conclusion
At the time of writing, there are few activities on the testnet, they are not complicated and do not take much time. There is no exact information about rewards, but the development team has its own CELO token. Probably, other activities will appear soon, so subscribe to the project’s social networks not to miss important updates.
