Activities on the Berachain V2 testnet
Berachain is the EVM blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK and uses the Proof-of-Liquidity consensus. The latter was designed to address the problem of liquidity inflows.
The project has attracted investments of $142 million from funds such as Polychain Capital, Shima Capital and others.
In this guide, let’s look at what activities you can do on the project for a potential airdrop.
Guide to completing the activities
Note: you will need a Metamask-type wallet to pass. If you don’t have one, you can use our guide to set it up and customize it.
- Get the test tokens from the faucet. To get the tokens from the faucet you need to hold at least 0.001 ETH on the Ethereum network:
- Go to BEX, exchange 0.1 BERA for WETH, WBTC, stgUSDC, HONEY and WBERA:
- Open the Pool section and deposit funds into the pool:
- Next, open Honey and exchange stgUSDC to HONEY:
- Go to Bend and make deposits in WBTC and WETH tokens. Then borrow HONEY tokens by clicking Borrow and brand BGT:
- The next step is to trade futures. To do this, go to the Berps website and open trading positions as shown below:
- Open the Vault tab and deposit HONEY tokens, for which we will receive bHONEY. Then click Deposit:
- Deposit bHONEY tokens, for which BGT can be branded after a while:
- By following the above steps, you can brand BGT tokens on Bend and Berps sites. Next, go to BGT Station and select a validator, then delegate tokens by clicking Delegate:
